Urban Stems is an upscale floral design firm in Tucson, Arizona.  Its founder, New York City native, Jara Scileppi, launched Urban Stems in 2013 eager to offer clients fresh, contemporary and refined designs, for which she saw a need in the local floral industry.

Urban Stems’ approach to floral design is derived from a profound love for all things artistic.  Jara began her journey studying to become a professional ballet dancer with the School of American Ballet. Thereafter, she graduated from The University of Arizona with a degree in Journalism and returned to New York to work at Hearst Corporation, one of the nation’s largest magazine publishing companies.  Having whet her aesthetic sensibilities in both creative fields, it’s no wonder she discovered a passion for floral design.  Jara’s careful attention to detail, coupled with her appreciation for composition and delicate clean lines, echo the elegant style upon which Urban Stems was established.
